In a military context, the wingman fighter jet flies slightly behind the lead to watch his back and provide a second pair of eyes. This Leatherman® WINGMAN® is also your right-hand man. So rely on it for tackling projects around the house and conquering survival tasks around the campsite. Although it’s a full-sized Multi-tool, the lightweight design fits inside your pocket for easy carry wherever you go. With plenty of handy tools, redesigned spring-action jaws and hardy stainless steel construction, it’s packed with amazing value. Backed by the Leatherman® 25-year warranty.
The Leatherman Legend
When Tim Leatherman founded Leatherman Tool Group Inc. in 1983, he set out to create products that improve people’s lives. The Leatherman brand began in 1976 when Tim took his wife on a car trip throughout Europe. Plagued by fix-it situations, Tim created a cardboard prototype that would later become the ultimate pocket survival tool. Seven years and a great deal of hard work later, that prototype finally became the first Leatherman multi-tool.
