The legendary Spyderco® Endura® Folder is the knife that built the Spyderco empire. When the first Endura hit the market in 1990, the idea of a lightweight pocket clip-carried folding knife was novel in and of itself. Yet through every successive evolution Spyderco has continued to innovate on the iconic Endura design, keeping it at the forefront of EDC technology.
The Endura 4 Lightweight is the latest in the Endura line, maintaining a full-size 3.4″ saber-ground VG-10 blade while eliminating every ounce of extra weight (down to 3.6 oz.) thanks to the injection-molded FRN handle and skeletonized stainless steel liner.
Patented Emerson Opening Device.
The integrated hook built into the spine of this blade was originally invented by renowned knifemaker Ernest Emerson and now licensed by Spyderco. This unique feature is specifically designed to snag the edge of the user’s pocket as the knife is drawn, automatically pivoting the blade open by the time it’s brought to the hand.
